Sahel Films Academy is a Civil Society/Non-Government Organization established in 2018 in The Gambia advocating for the rights and advancement of marginalized groups. Sahel Films uses media and communications to empower Gambians on issues related to gender equality, youth empowerment, human rights, governance, and accountability. This is done through partnering with civil society, media, public/influential figures, PWD, women, and youth groups to produce content and other outreach activities which inform and engage audiences on key development, constitution, and legislative issues. Sahel Films also strengthens the media sector by building professional capacity and infrastructure.
