As a Web Development Trainer specializing in WordPress at our Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission – MGQS IT training institute in The Gambia, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality training in web development with a focus on WordPress and foundational web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role involves conducting comprehensive training sessions, engaging with students to ensure their understanding of creating and managing websites using WordPress, along with a strong grounding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will evaluate their progress, providing support and guidance to help them become proficient in building and customizing websites. While a detailed course curriculum will be provided, you are encouraged to integrate your own industry experiences and insights to enrich the learning experience. Additionally, staying current with the latest trends in web development and WordPress is crucial for providing relevant and updated training.
Qualification and Experience
- MUST HAVE – A valid NAQAA letter of approval or Trainer Licence
- A minimum of 1 year of industry experience in web development, particularly with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is required.
- Ability to explain complex web development concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students of varying technical backgrounds and skill levels.
- A commitment to continuous professional development in both the technical and educational fields.
- Prior teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
