Job Overview

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Gambians to fill the vacant position of ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT at the Office of the Ombudsman, Cape Point, Bakau.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Public Administration, Management or any of the related social sciences
  • General skills and training in the basic principles of administration
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent writing skills and good interpersonal relationship
  • Must be computer literate

SALARY: ATTRACTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work under the supervision of the Administrative Manager
  • Responsible for writing internal correspondences
  • Assist in routine administrative functions
  • Participate in the development, implementation and review of policies
  • Responsible for taking minutes of general staff minutes
  • Assist in the monitoring of vehicles and fuel sheets
  • Ensure that clear systems of procedure for the administration are in place and are consistently applied
  • Carry out any other duties assigned to him/her by the Ombudsman
