Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified Gambians to fill the vacant position of
COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT at the Office of the Ombudsman, Cape Point, Bakau.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or any of the related fields
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Excellent writing skills and interpersonal relationship

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Work under the supervision of the Director of Communications
- Participate in the enhancement of the image of the office
- Participate in the awareness creation of the roles and functions of the office
- Participate in the writing, editing and proof reading of official publications
- Responsible for the update and maintenance of the office website and social media platforms
- Participate in the compilation and preparation of the Ombudsman annual reports to the President and National Assembly
- Carry out any other duties assigned to him/her by the Ombudsman
