CF is a non-governmental organization engaged in child welfare, agricultural crops production, food aid distribution, school building, healthcare, rural business enterprises, water well supplies and filtration, self-sustaining self-employment, micro-credit and loans, livestock production. Between May to October, 2012, 8,000 families affected by the food crisis in over 30 communities in the Western Region (WCR) were the beneficiaries of the The Gambia Food Distribution Project initiated by CF. Valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of children.
Because childhood is a one-time opportunity, Child Fund helps struggling communities around the world transform themselves into places where children can dream, achieve and contribute. Child Fund promotes societies whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of children.
