Joseph and Fiona Kajue started the school in 2009, after watching children on the steep sides of a gravel pit. It was used as a refuse pit. They were scavenging for items to sell and recycle, to make money for their families.
Our mission is to provide quality education to needy children in The Gambia. We believe education is the key to freedom, choice and social emancipation. Therefore, we intend to provide an environment suitable for cross cultural integration and religious harmony, without regards to tribe, creed or social status. Our mission is to be a beacon of hope in the local community and a place where wonderful childhood memories are made and cherished forever.
