Overview of the Institution:
Njawara Agricultural Training Center (NATC) is a local NGO situated in the lower Badibou District of the North Bank Region of the Gambia whose overarching mandate is to support livelihood-challenged communities in The Gambia to sustainably improve their well-being and standard of living.
Currently, NATC is being supported by United Purpose in implementing an Integrated Climate Adaptation and Community Resilient building Project (ICCR) within six (6) communities in the North Bank Region. The overall objective of this project is to improve the adaptive capacity of vulnerable rural and coastal populations in The Gambia through support to climate-resilient and diversified livelihoods and development of viable collaborative and integrated management approaches.
