The Nova Scotia-Gambia Association is a not-for-profit international development Non-Governmental Organization registered as a Charity in Canada and as an international Non-Governmental Organization in the Gambia. Operating in The Gambia for 36 years, the organization focuses on health promotion and community development initiatives using the Peer Health Education Program as an approach. The NSGA works with schools and communities to improve health, foster youth leadership, develop skills and encourage citizenship.
