SAINEF formerly known as Power Vision Solutions, was founded in February 2018 with the main purpose of solving Africa’s biggest challenges through technology. SAINEF exists today helping organizations ranging from small and medium-size to large organizations run their operations efficiently and effectively with inbuilt technologies that allow for a smoother operation.
The idea of developing an Electronic Medical Record was conceptualized by Aji Kumba Saine when she had a burning desire to fix some of the health care challenges that have plaqued the Gambia and sub-region countries in West Africa. In her words, “people are dying from easily curable disease, especially pregnant women and new born babies” . She and her team have set out on a journey with the goal of enabling any health practitioner to capture essential patient data at any time, from any location, and share it with those who need it the most, whether they be other allied practitioners or health care professionals to provide better, coordinated, and efficient treatment to their patient.
