Job Overview
The Rural Development Organization (RDO) is a nonprofit Gambian organization (NGO) that has developed extensive expertise in the agricultural sector in recent years. The organization was first established with significant involvement from the German Sabab Lou Foundation. Since 2019 it operates the Holistic Agribusiness Center in Ballingho which has become a highly regarded and recognized benchmark for in-depth holistic agricultural training in sub-Saharan Africa.
Rural Development Organization (RDO) requires the services of qualified young persons to fill the following position.
Administrative Assistant
The assistant will report to the CEO and assist him implementing tasks and projects, such as:
- Organisation of workshops / events / visits and travels
- Communication with service providers and project partners
- Financial reporting
- General administration
Qualification and Experience
Candidate must have relevant qualification and post qualification experience in their areas of interest. A first Degree and previous work experience in similar setting will be an added advantage.
IT skills, especially Excel, Word, fluent English, excellent communication skills, reliability, diligence are required. We appreciate entrepreneurial thinking.
