About the Role

YAXARE is a growing herbal tea brand based in The Gambia. We are looking for an experienced B2B Sales professional to sell Yaxare Tea to retail shops.

You will visit corner shops, mini-markets, supermarkets, and wholesalers to secure shelf space and build repeat orders. This is a new local product, so follow-up and persistence are essential.

This role is for someone who already understands how to sell to shops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure new retail customers and manage existing accounts
  • Maintain regular shop visits and follow-up
  • Keep accurate records of customers, sales activity, and collections
  • Drive a company minivan as part of daily sales routes

Mandatory (Non-Negotiable)

  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to safely drive a minivan daily

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience selling food, beverage, or similar products to shops
  • Experience introducing new products into retail
  • Confident dealing with shop owners and decision-makers
  • Disciplined, resilient, and able to work independently
  • Good English and at least one local language
  • Good smartphone skills (data entry, WhatsApp, Google Maps)
