ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF CCTV CONTROLLERS 

G4S, the world’s leading security company, is seeking applications from qualified individuals to fill 10 (ten) vacant positions of CCTV Controllers. 

To manage the control room at a customer site in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements to meet business and customer needs.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• • AT START OF SHIFT; 

1. O.B. entry to confirm start of duty.
2. Confirm that ALL CCTVs and phones are working, and accounted.

for. ● DURING THE SHIFT; 

1. Ensure that ALL Services are provided as scheduled / requested.
2. Monitor Access and Exit at the site
3. Maintain accurate logs.
4. Record ALL Occurrences, Reports, Incidents in the O.B.
5. Report ANY disruption of Services immediately to Management.
6. Inform the Customer of any delay / change to their Service (O.B. entry) g. Ensure that ANY request for or changes to a Service are confirmed and acknowledged IN WRITING, and that they are written up in the Requests Register. – Inform the management accordingly.

• AT END OF SHIFT; 

1. Ensure that Requests for Service for the following day have been written up in BOTH the Register and the Control Room Diary.
2. Ensure that ALL Requests for Service have been placed in the Requests file.
3.  Book “Off Duty” in the O.B.

The applicant must have as a minimum a grade 12 level education.

A higher level of education will be an advantage.

Knowledge of the operations of CCTV.

Must have excellent writing skills.
