JOB SUMMARY 

Manages consistent financial planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting activities to  ensure consolidated reporting to support company’s management in business decision  making. 

  1. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES 
  2. Regular/Routine 
  • Manages company’s budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX  level and drives the yearly budget exercise and forecast with line management.  Reports variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin or investment/contract to  provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity.  Analyzes, recommends and approves investment or profitability for complex files  or projects (e.g. infrastructure, new products, promotions) and selects those that  support company’s strategy and optimize its commercial position.  
  • Develops financial plans, organizes product structure in a business logic way and  supports/advises in decision making, investment and customer offers. Initiates, coordinates and tracks financial processes improvements and ensures  the respect for financial standards and best practices.  
  • Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance,  builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables  employees to optimize their contribution to the department.

 SPECIFICATIONS 

Minimum Education; A good first degree in any discipline. Professional accounting  qualification (E.g., ACCA) required Relevant master’s degree will be an added  advantage. 

Formal Training; Banking Law/Regulation 

  • Minimum Experience; Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Good accounting and financial management skills 
  • Good industry Knowledge 
  • Environmental / industry analysis 
  • Financial analysis / interpretation 
  • Database Management Systems (DBMS)
