Reliance Financial Services (RFS), a reputable and leading Micro -Finance Institution is looking for qualified and experience candidate for the vacant position of HEAD,INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY for the Head Office at Kairaba Avenue;

• JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the company’s core operating software via administrative interfaces, and to liaise with the Outsourced IT Operations Service Provider on fault finding and rectification of issues as managed by issue tracking software.  Provide user support for all aspects of computerized systems, develop, monitor and document housekeeping security procedures and act as system administrator coordinating and maintaining contracts for all computers and ancillary equipment. Produce a variety of system reports as may be required to management.  

The IT Officer’s job role, is to provide direct support to the Managing Director by ensuring the Outsourced IT Operations is delivering based on the Service Levels Agreement and taking a hands-on role, with active participation in resolving IT iss.

• Key Responsibilities:

The IT Officer’s duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Responsibility for the day to day operations of the Company’s Information Systems in line with the IT Policy and Strategy.
• Act as a Liaison between the Company and the IT Services and Operations Providers on all matters relating to the effective implementation of the Outsourced Agreement.
• Maintaining Asset Management for IT equipment across the network.
• Day to day management of the Technical Support system to ensure issues are properly captured, logged and followed up for timely resolution by IT Services Operations Provider and provide feedback to originator of the issue.
• Provide advice and lead the tracking and progress of all IT projects being implemented by the Company in line with the approved plan.
• Ensuring remittance platforms are active at every branch and engage with the IT Teams of MTO Partners for timely IT Support. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with at least 5 years’ experience
• Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
