Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the proper recruitment, hiring and training of company staff;
- Responsible for the proper & timely dispensation of employee salaries and benefits;
- Development and maintenance of all employee records and contracts.
- Timely and proper delivery of purchasing, support services & facilities security services.
- Acts as first company representative to labor related meetings, bargaining and grievance sessions.
Details of Tasks
- Manpower Supply and Training

- Assists line management in the recruitment, selection, training and retention of a suitably skilled and motivated workforce;
- Develops and implements systems for assessing manpower training needs in the areas of general skills improvement;
- Develops and implements systems for coordinating with line units for technical training;
- Provides and manages all necessary personnel services to meet the company’s needs.
General Working Conditions
- Regularly monitors current labor issues which may affect overall operations or necessitate changes to manpower policy.
- Develops corporate programs and activities necessary to promote a highly productive working environment.
- Develops and maintains good and harmonious relations with applicable labor groups and appropriate government agencies.
- Engages in regular visits and meetings with all operating units.
- Contributes to the maintenance of high employee morale’ and proper work attitudes and practices.
Employee Records
- Development and maintenance of employment records, interview and test results;
- Development and maintenance of performance appraisal and training records per employee;
- Development and maintenance of pertinent records relevant to lost time due to accidents, leaves, etc.
- Development and maintenance of pertinent records relevant to payroll, compensation, benefits, discipline, medical services, etc.
Purchasing
- Ensures the proper implementation of purchasing policies and procedures.
- Develops and oversees the maintenance of a supplier, service provider database for regular products and services.
- Manages the timely processing of purchase requisitions and deliveries
Facilities and Security Services
- Monitors the health, safety, and security aspects of the workplaces and institutes changes accordingly.
Medical Services
- Develops agreements with qualified medical service providers to meet the employees’ needs.
- Coordinates the medical testing requirements for pre-employment and regular medical examinations.
The above describes essential responsibilities and activities that are typical for an incumbent in this job. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of tasks performed. Depending on organizational requirements, the Human Resources Manager shall perform other activities which may be assigned from time to time.
Working Environment
