Job Overview
REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR
OVERALL FUNCTION: To provide the required expertise to facilitate and enhance the investigative work of the Department.
SPECIFIC TASKS
- Carry out investigations and analyze, under the direction and supervision of the Head of Department as and when required, on complaints lodged with the Commission relating to consumer welfare.
- Assist in the monitoring of market activities to ascertain the prevailing competition and consumer protection environment.
- Provide the Principal Officers regular updates and written quarterly reports on activities carried out, accomplishments and constraints.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Principal Officers and the Head of Department.
Qualification & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- At least 3 year of demonstrable post qualification experience
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
- Advance knowledge of a wide range of software
