BACKGROUND 

The National Association of Cooperative Credit Unions of The Gambia (NACCUG) was formed in 1992 as the apex body for Cooperative Credit Unions in The Gambia and has the mandate to promote and support the development of credit unions across the country. NACCUG supervises and supports the development of Credit Unions and provides for their training and capacity building needs while ensuring safety and soundness. It also serves as the advocacy body and representative for Credit Unions both nationally and internationally.

NACCUG is licensed by the Central Bank of The Gambia as a Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI). It is also an affiliate of the African Confederation of Cooperative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA).

REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR THE AUDIT OF NACCUG ACCOUNTS FOR 2025

NACCUG solicits bids from Registered Audit Firms for the audit of its financial statements for the year ending 31st December 2025. Interested audit firms are requested to submit their technical and financial proposals in two separate envelopes and clearly marked “Technical” and “Financial” proposal. Technical Proposal should provide details of the bidder’s background information, experience on similar assignment, qualification of staff proposed for the assignment, methodology, plan of activity and any additional information considered relevant by the bidder.  

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BID

Bid Content – A completed bid must be signed by the authorized signatory and submitted to the NACCUG Head Office in a sealed envelope. Bidders must include two (2) referees including their name and contacts. The NACCUG reserves the right to contact other references not provided by the bidder.

Bid Award – It is the intent of NACCUG to accept the lowest responsive bid, provided it has been submitted in accordance with the requirements.  NACCUG reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities therein.
