Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting in financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
● Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and statements.
● Process payments, receipts, and other financial transactions accurately and on time.
● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
● Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
● Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
● Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
● Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
● Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
● Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
● Identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
● AAT, CAT, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
● Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
● High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills..
