This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in administrative and human resources functions within a professional setting.
Objective of the Internship
The Admin and HR Intern will support the daily operations of the HR and Administrative departments. This includes assisting with recruitment processes, employee record management, and ensuring smooth office administration. The internship is designed to provide practical experience and skill development for future career opportunities in administration and human resources.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update company records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Handle general office tasks, including managing correspondence, answering calls, and coordinating deliveries.
- Support the procurement process by managing inventory and tracking office supplies. Human Resources Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
- Help with onboarding new employees, ensuring they receive necessary materials and orientation.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR management system. Other Duties:
- Provide support in planning and executing company events and initiatives. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
