Job Overview
A multinational commercial bank in The Gambia is seeking a qualified and results- oriented candidate for the position of Business Performance Management Lead.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field (mandatory).
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or an MBA will be an added advantage.Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial and business performance analysis skills.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling expertise.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other performance management tools.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business performance management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management reporting, or related functions within the banking or financial services industry.
- Experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of banking products, financial statements, and performance drivers.
- Proven experience in preparing management and Board-level reports.
- Experience in data analytics and business intelligence tools will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Bank’s annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial and non-financial performance against approved budgets,targets, and strategic objectives.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for Management, BoardCommittees, and the Board of Directors.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into key drivers of business performance.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards, KPIs, and management informationreports.
