Duties & Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Policy Implementation
-
- Partner with Senior HR & Admin Manager to implement HR policies in the Corporation’s goals and labor laws.
- Provide input on workforce planning, succession planning and organizational design.
- Monitor and evaluate HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and advise the Senior Manager, HR & Admin.
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Collaborate with the Senior HR & Admin to manage end to end requirement process including creation of job descriptions.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to ensure seamless integration of new employees into the organization.
- Build a strong employer brand to attract top talent.
Employee Relations and Engagement

- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring timely resolution.
- Liaise with the Senior HR & Admin Manager to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs
- Organize team building activities to enhance collaboration and morale.
Performance Management
- Sets clear performance targets for direct reports and ensure regular monitoring and feedback to track progress.
- Collaborates with Senior HR & Admin Manager to oversee and guide employee disciplinary meetings and investigations. Provide guidance for employment terminations. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.
- Coach supervisors on providing effective feedback and setting performance goals.
- Identify training needs and create development plans to address skills gaps and recommend to the Senior HR & Admin Manager
Compliance and Risk Management
- Supports the Senior Manager, HR & Admin to ensure strict compliance with the Corporation’s policies and Labor laws.
- Conduct periodic audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, HR & Admin to handle disciplinary actions and grievance procedures in a fair and legally compliant manner.
Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Oversees payroll processing, benefits administration, and reward programs with accuracy and timeliness.
- Evaluate compensation structure to ensure competitiveness fairness and equity.
- Conduct market research to recommend adjustments to salary structure
Administrative Operations
- Supervise the administrative team to ensure smooth day to day operations.
- Oversee travel arrangements event coordination and record keeping.
Leadership and Team Management
- Monitors and analyze key HR metrics to provide actionable insights that guide informed decision making.
- Prepares and deliver comprehensive HR reports to management, proving clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Training and Development
- Compile records of training undertaken by staff locally and ensure that staff enrolled in long term programs are bonded accordingly.
- Facilitate workshops and learning opportunities to enhance employees’ skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data.
- Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.
