Invitation to Bid: Road evacuation of groundnuts (farmers’ stock) 109 views

Dear Sir/Madam,

You are hereby invited to be a Bidder in the Tender described herein. The Gambia
Public Procurement Act defines a Tender as a type of Bid and anyone submitting a
Tender or other Bid is known as a Bidder. Under the Tender process, there will be a
public opening of all Bids received at the place and at the time stated in Paragraph 7
below.
1. The National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corporation has
budgeted funding for THE TRANSPORTATION OF FARMERS STOCK
FROM VARIOUS DEPOTS TO SARRO DEPOT, KEREWAN AND KUAR
DEPOT and intends to place a Contract for the transportation of these goods.
2. The goods to be procured shall be delivered at Sarro Kaur and Kerewan as
specified in the bidding document within the required timeframe.
3. The National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corporation now
invites sealed and labelled bids from eligible Transport companies for the
Transportation of farmers stock as follows:
1. Barra to Kerewan
2. Kuntaur to Kaur Depot
3. Kudang to Saaro
4. Basing to Saaro

4. The deadline for submission of inquiries and for requests for clarifications is three
(3) days before the submission deadline. The contact details are: 833712020/
877292020.
5. Interested eligible transporters may obtain further information from and acquire
the Bid document at the Procurement office, National Food Security Processing
and Marketing Corporation, Sarro, Denton Bridge, Banjul, The Gambia.
6. A complete set of the Bid documents in English language may be obtained by
interested Transporters from NFSPMC’s Procurement unit at a cost of
GMD10,000.00 (Ten thousand dalasi only), non-refundable.
7. Quotations must be delivered at the Tender Box at the Procurement Office of
the National Food Security Processing and Marketing Corporation, on or
before 12:00 PM Banjul time on Monday 9th November 2026
NOTE: Late submissions shall not be considered.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to
attend on the same day at 12:15 PM AT NFSPMC’S BOARD ROOM, SARRO,
DENTON BRIDGE.
