ITT; Supply and Delivery of Training Equipment, Tools, Materials and Furniture to Beneficiary Institutions 180 views

The Tertiary & Higher Education Trust Fund (THET Fund) invites eligible bidders to submit sealed bids for the Supply and Delivery of training equipment, tools, consumable materials and furniture to beneficiary tertiary and higher education institutions in The Gambia. Eligible bidders may bit for any or each the following lots:

Bidders may bid for one or more Lots. Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded independently.

Delivery Locations

USET Brikama, USET Ndemban, USET Kanilai, USET Julangel, USET Mansakonko, School of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences (SoMAHS), University of Education, The Gambia (UEG), Civil Service University (CSU), Gambia Telecommunication & Multimedia Institute (GTMI) and Rural Development Institute (RDI). Goods must be delivered to the respective institutions within six (6) weeks of contract signing.

Eligibility Requirements

• Legally registered in The Gambia with a valid 2026 registration with the Gambia Public Procurement Authority (GPPA).
• Valid Business Registration Certificate and Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Evidence of at least two (2) similar contracts within the last two (2) years, each valued at a minimum of D2,000,000.
• Proof of financial standing (bank reference letter or audited financial statements/management accounts for the last two years).

Bid Documents and Enquiries

Bid documents are available free of charge from the Office of the Executive Director and Chairperson of the Contracts Committee, THET Fund, Bertil Harding Highway, Bijilo, between 29th September and 12th October 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to 2️⃣% of the bid price, issued by a recognized financial institution. An electronic copy of the bid document is also available and may be requested by email from info@thetfund.gm or mtouray@thetfund.gm, and will be sent to the bidder online. Enquiries and requests for clarification must be received by 12th October 2026.

Submission and Opening of Bids

• Deadline: 12:00 noon (Banjul time), 15th October 2026.
• Submit one (1) original and two (2) copies, in sealed envelopes, delivered to the THET Fund Office, Bertil Harding Highway, Opposite Access Bank, Bijilo.
• Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid amount, and bids must remain valid for 90 days.
• Bids will be opened publicly at 12:30 PM on 15th October 2026 in the THET Fund Conference Room, Bijilo, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
• Award will be made to the most responsive bidder administratively, technically and financially, and is not bound by the lowest price.
