- For all positions, an appropriate linguistic competence in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- All candidates must have sufficient computer skills to operate with electronic mail, word processing, public presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Flexibility required. Work is expected on occasions both in the evening and weekends.
- Place of work is Banjul (Unless otherwise indicated).
LIAISON OFFICER ASSISTANT
Possesses adequate professional training and relevant work experience.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS: Under the direct supervision of Liaison Officer, the incumbents will assist with the following tasks:
- Provide appropriate assistance to the security of the Mission in accordance with the instructions of the Liaison Officer.
- Assist the latter in the design, implementation and execution of all necessary safety measures to mission success:
- Assist the Liaison Officer for the preparation of documents and safety manuals, production databases etc …
- Assist in the preparation of Safety training meetings of members of the mission
- Assist the Liaison Officer for coordination of movements of mission members.
- Keep a database of useful information about security.
- Develop and maintain contacts with local authorities in charge of security.
- Other useful security mission tasks can be requested.
