Reliance Financial Services (RFS), a reputable and leading Micro -Finance Institution is looking for qualified and experience candidate for the vacant position of MANAGER TREASURY & REMITTANCES for the Head Office at Kairaba Avenue;

• JOB PURPOSE:

Planning, organizing, directing and monitoring the treasury operations of the Bank in accordance with the laws of the Gambia and regulatory compliance; execution of internal and external money market, capital market and foreign exchange transactions, the position involves dealing in high value, large volume multi-currency transactions

1. Key Requirements:

• Sales and Business Acquisition
• Work with the Branches and Businesses to provide optimal liquidity to the entire RFS Network;
• Analyse the liquidity position report and identify excess cash in the network;
• Invest all excess cash in the money market with a view to be successful in all bids and obtain maximum return
• Engage in buying and selling of foreign exchange; develop counter-parties for trading foreign exchange.
• Target Bureaus for Sub-Agency for Remittance Partners to widen our network.
• Ensure availability of all Remittance Platforms in the branches and Agencies through the support IT for MTOs that are not on APG

2. Know How & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject plus 1 year experience OR 
• Graduate Diploma in relevant subject plus 3 years’ experience OR
• Sound knowledge of general banking law and practices, human resource, treasury principles and practices and the Bank’s products and services
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements
• Knowledge of investment instruments and principles of investing
• Ability to collate, organize and analyze data from multiple sources and prepare reports and other documents.
