PURPOSE OF THE SPECIFICATIONS

To carry out its activities, Wave Transfer Limited wishes to engage the services of a temporary employment agency to provide staff.

Bidders, which must be private legal entities with their registered office or principal place of business in The Gambia, must meet the national legal and regulatory requirements in force for the performance of the activity covered by these terms of reference and demonstrate proven skills and experience in the field. They must have recruitment and staffing as their core business activity and include all relevant supporting documents with their application.

The purpose of these specifications is to define the characteristics of the assignment that Wave Transfer Limited intends to entrust to a temporary staffing agency, which will be the subject of a framework agreement between the two parties.

EXPECTED SERVICES

Content and scope of the temporary employment agency’s services

The services provided by the temporary employment agency Wave Gambia Limited consist of:

• Recruitment and provision of salaried personnel for temporary work assignments
• Selection and provision of qualified agents (verification of references, qualifications, civil status, legal status, and character);
• Management of administrative formalities (temporary employment contracts, social security and tax declarations, insurance);
• Administrative Management and Human Resources
  • Payroll, social security declarations, leave management, disciplinary follow-up;
  • Social security contributions (SSHFC)
  • Income tax payments (PAYE)
  • Insurance Coverage
• Operational monitoring
  • Provide monthly reports on the number of staff available, attendance rates, staff turnover, and replacement of absent staff;
  • Ensure that replacements are available in the event of resignation, prolonged absence, or termination.
• Training & supervision
• Organisation of initial training sessions on operations; merchants (in collaboration with Wave);
• Ongoing monitoring and coaching of agents.

Our mission locations are spread across the entire territory of The Gambia where Wave operates and has offices.
