Catholic Relief Service (CRS) began working in The Gambia in 1664 supporting relief and development operations in the country. CRS Gambia has proudly maintained a strong reputation with partners and the communities we serve by implementing a multi-sector program portfolio.

Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is implementing the Food Security and Climate Entrepreneurship Project II (FACE II) in partnership with the Agency for Village Support (AVISU), with funding support from LDS Charities.

To ensure efficient implementation of its activities, we are considering quotations for the supply and deliver of high-quality small ruminants, poultry chicks, poultry production materials, feeds, and veterinary inputs that meets CRS Specifications and comply with National Livestock, Biosecurity and animal welfare standards

Objectives of the tender

 The objective of this tender is to Improve household food security and income among women and youth farmers by:

• Increasing agricultural productivity through climate smart vegetable gardening and poultry
• Improving access to productive assets and inputs, including fencing, borehole systems and farming
• Strengthening farmers’ technical knowledge and skills through integrated farming training and farmer field school approaches; and
• Enhancing household incomes and livelihood diversification through market-oriented production and entrepreneurship
• Strengthening resilience to climate change and economic shocks by:
• Promoting adoption of climate smart agricultural practices that improve soil fertility, water management, and
• Expanding access to Savings and Internal Lending Communities (SILC) to improve financial inclusion, savings, and access to
