Overview
NAWEC is inviting suitably qualified and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Security Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating security operations across NAWEC facilities, ensuring the safety and protection of employees, assets, and company premises.
Role Summary
The Security Supervisor will:
- Supervise and manage daily security operations
- Lead and evaluate security personnel
- Ensure compliance with security standards and procedures
- Monitor access control, CCTV operations, and incident reporting
- Coordinate emergency response and liaise with law enforcement when required
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and incident documentation
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop security duty rosters and patrol schedules
- Conduct site inspections to ensure guards are alert and properly deployed
- Investigate incidents and escalate issues as required
- Oversee access control systems and surveillance operations
- Ensure compliance with all security regulations
- Recommend improvements to security processes and systems
- Foster a professional culture of vigilance and customer service among the security team
Required Qualifications & Experience
- High school certificate (minimum)
- Diploma/Degree in Security Management is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience in security services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position
- Knowledge of corporate security practices and emergency response
- Proficiency in CCTV and modern security technologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills
- Physically fit and capable of responding to incidents onsite
- Valid security certification/license where applicable
