Responsible to: Finance Manager
Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for preparing payment vouchers, posting, and monthly bank reconciliation, maintaining and ensuring that financial policy and procedures are adhered to.
Key Function
- Prepare daily bank balance
- Responsible for posting receipts in the accounting
- Responsible for creating invoices for
- Filing receipts and deposit slips in an orderly
- Prepare weekly receivables account
- Reconcile the Impress Account and ensure timely retirement
- Assist in the Balance-sheet Items Reconciliation
- Perform any other tasks as required by the Head of Department or Finance Manager.
Education & Experience
- ACCA Level 2 or other relevant field
- BSc in Accounting / Finance
- Minimum of 5 years’ progressive working experience in an accounting or finance setting in a similar position
Person Specification
- General accounting knowledge
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to use Finex accounting software, fix asset registers
- Skilled in analyzing and evaluating data
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal
- Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use your own initiative
