Name of Project: McGovern-Dole Food for Education (FFE) Project in The Gambia

Catholic Relief Service (CRS) The Gambia is launching a call for proposals to select contractors to implement the McGovern-Dole Food for Education (FFE) project’s WASH activities. The school feeding project (NDOKK) is being implemented in 186 lower basic schools (LBS) and early childhood development (ECD).

OBJECTIVES

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify eligible bidders with expertise in civil work and/or borehole drilling to implement the WASH component of the project. Specifically:

All designs will be provided by the project, in collaboration with relevant government authorities. Interested bidders can obtain the full bidding documents from the email: gm_procurementenquiries@crs.org

All bids must be submitted via email to gm_quotations@crs.org with the subject line RFP FFE WASH LATRINES. Physical submissions will not be accepted and will result in disqualification.

Bids will be valid for 90 days from the date of submission set by CRS. An offer valid for a shorter period may be rejected.

CRS reserves the right to accept or reject any offer, and to cancel the procedure to call for tenders and to reject all tenders at any time before the award of the contract, without incurring any liability vis-à-vis the tenderers.

CRS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award the contract in whole to a single bidder or to make multiple awards and distribute the scope of work among two or more bidders, as deemed to be in the best interest of CRS.
