Maintenance and Repair Service of Air Conditioners 8 views

CRS is accepting proposal from firm or individuals for maintenance and repair service of air conditioners at CRS Fajara office. Once proposal is accepted, the responsiblities of the contracting firm or individual Service Provider shall consist of the following:

1. The Service Provider shall be on call in order to service air conditioners during office work hours, with willingness to respond to emergency calls after work hours.
2. The Service Provider shall make at least one site visit during each quarter, to each location in order to carry out preventive maintenance services on the air conditioners. The Service Provider shall submit a site evaluation report to CRS after every such visit. The report shall focus on the condition of each air conditioner at the time with recommendations for preventive care & maintenance. The report shall be submitted together with the invoice for that quarter.
3. Ensure that no spare part or repair of damaged part shall be supplied and fitted except with the express agreement of CRS including the agreement on the price to be charged. Undue delay in obtaining spare parts for any air conditioner shall be notified to CRS immediately, after the same is known to the Service Provider. The Service Provider warrants that all spare parts shall be new spare parts of good quality and recommended by the machine’s manufacturer.
4. Transport upon CRS’ approval faulty air conditioners to the Service Provider’s service workshop for repairs at no cost to CRS.
5. Dispatch qualified technicians to respond to any emergency call by CRS within three hours. The technicians shall fully remedy the problem within 24 hours or if on a weekend by the following Monday or diagnose the problem and advise CRS accordingly.
6. Install new air conditioners as may be required by CRS. In such cases, CRS shall be responsible for any cost related to transportation, additional labor, and parts required for the installation.
7. Service or repairs to air conditioners that may not be capable of being carried out on site shall be undertaken at the service center of the Service Provider upon approval by CRS. However, during this period the Service Provider shall provide to CRS free of charge an alternative air conditioner that can be temporarily used. Such provision of equipment shall attract a cost to be agreed by both parties before the deployment of the equipment.
