RFP: Individual Clinical Data Management Consultants — RVF Programme, Senegal

Subject: Clinical Data Management services for RVF research programme in Senegal

Duration: 01 Sep 2026–28 Feb 2028; possible extension based on project needs, performance and programme evolution

Eligibility: Open only to individual consultants. Firms, CROs, companies, partnerships and institutions will not be considered. Applicants must apply in their own name and personally perform the selected work.

Background
MRCG at LSHTM is supporting the regional outbreak response to Rift Valley Fever (RVF) in Senegal, including an observational study and a planned interventional clinical trial led as part of the broader RVF research programme. Individual CDM consultants are required to support the design, implementation and management of compliant data systems and processes across clinical, laboratory, sample-related and safety data. The support will cover bilingual English/French documentation, data quality controls, query management, reconciliation, training, reporting, database lock, archiving and capacity strengthening for future regional or multi-country studies.

Available Roles

Role 1 — Lead Data Manager: approx. 0.50 FTE; governance, DMP/SOPs, data standards, compliance oversight, database approval, lock and archive sign-off.

Role 2 — Trial Data Manager: 1.00 FTE; REDCap build, bilingual CRFs, edit checks, dashboards, cleaning, queries, reconciliation, reports, lock and analysis-ready datasets.

Role 3 — Safety Data Manager & Medical Coder: approx. 0.30 FTE; AE/SAE tracking, safety reconciliation, MedDRA/WHO Drug coding and safety summaries.

Requirements & Application
Applicants may apply for up to two roles. Each role will be evaluated independently and fees must be quoted separately. All roles require relevant CDM experience, valid ICH-GCP E6(R3) training, strong documentation practice and compliance with ICH-GCP, GCDMP, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, UK-GDPR and applicable Senegal data laws.

Consultants are expected to operate in a bilingual English/French environment, support training and mentorship of local teams, and contribute to a capacity strengthening plan. Multi-site or multi-country experience, preferably in LMIC settings, and presence in or strong operational links to West Africa are advantageous.
