Academic Qualifications

• A first degree in Accounting, Banking &Finance or Economics.
• Professional qualifications like ACCA and Treasury Certification will be an added advantage

Work Experience

Minimum of five years’ Banking experience working in Treasury in a highly structured Financial Institution

Job Objectives

• Drive development of the balance sheet, plot and chart its growth in line with strategic bank imperatives
• Preparation of internal/Regulatory Reports relating to Treasury and other products
• Market Scanning and Assessment
• Maintain and keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in various forex transaction
• Asset and Liability Management (ALCO), Liquidity Planning and Control and cashflow projections
• Stakeholder Relationships Management (e.g. CBG, banks, MTOs and other key stakeholders and counterparties in the industry)

• Responsible for strategic management of balance sheet elements to eliminate inefficiency and revenue leakages.
• Works closely with Finance to drive strategic balance sheet growth metrics, in view of future anticipated liquidity and capital requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external controls, policies and procedures.
• Manage cash functions including cash concentration, wire account funding etc.
• Facilitate and coordinate investments in Fixed income products /interbank placements.
• Liaises with other internal customers – front, middle and back office.
• Ensure team members have a thorough understanding of relevant bank policies.
• Liaises with regulators on the team’s behalf to drive market development and influence policy.
• Drive sales and marketing of flow derivatives and structured products for the banks clients
